Our mission is to make the outdoors accessible to all, and we need your help to inspire people from all walks of life to engage with the natural world. Camp Rockaway at Fort Tilden is a pop up campground opening in May. Guests stay in furnished, safari-style tents just steps from the beach, and have access to a communal fire pit, picnic area, camp store, hammocks, games, and more. The natural beauty of Fort Tilden is just outside your tent, and the bustling Riis Park, with its concessions, bars, entertainment and more is a short walk from the campground.
Camp Rockaway at Schuylerville Junction opens Memorial Day Weekend. Located on the water at Lock C-5 on the Champlain Canal, the campground is the perfect base camp for exploring the canal, the Hudson and Battenkill rivers, the lively Village of Schuylerville, the Empire State Trail and the natural beauty of Saratoga County. Accommodations include furnished safari-style tents and furnished “pup” tents.
