There’s a unique tranquility that comes from being in nature, out in the woods, and enjoying each other’s company around the campfire. Camping allows kids to be free, explore the world around them, and put down the phone for just a few days allowing their minds to rest and enjoy their surroundings.
Enjoy Amenities at our Campground Near Saratoga Springs, NY
Besides a furnished and comfortable safari-style tent, Camp Rockaway offers other great amenities on and off location. There are showers (with hot water), a communal fire pit (S’mores kits are available), picnic area, board games, a charging station and more.
The campsite is near Saratoga Springs in Schuylerville, NY. The tents are conveniently located right on the Champlain Canal Towpath, alongside the banks of the Hudson River. Within a short walking distance, both kids and adults can enjoy discovering the Champlain Canal Lock (C-5) and watch various boats come in and out of the lock throughout the day.
Only a short walk away is Hudson Crossing Park. Enjoy a family picnic, play on the playground, and look for wild animals playing in the natural surroundings. The charming village of Schuylerville is less than a mile down the Empire State Trail. We even have bikes for our guests to borrow. If you are looking to venture a little further away from your waterfront glamping site, be sure to check out the local brewery and restaurants nearby.
